     At MidAtlantic Business Advisors, we frequently become involved with clients who want or need to sell, but their financial goals or requirements will not be met by the market value of their businesses. In other instances, the timing may not be quite right to start the sale process. Our answer to both circumstances is the same: Value Coaching. Our founder owned and operated four businesses in four different industries; successfully grew each and sold three for substantial gains. The other is still operating. In addition to this real world experience, as trained business valuators, we are keenly aware of the key elements that determine value. We utilize this experience and knowledge to advise clients on how to maximize the value of their businesses in preparation for a sale. We look at all risk factors, performance areas and improvement opportunities and compare our client businesses to industry benchmarks. We then deliver specific recommendations which, when implemented, can increase value significantly.
